| Allen shaken up The situation: First-and- 10 from Tampa Bay 27 The play: Free safety Will Allen made a hard tackle on Julius Jones with 2:04 to play in the first quarter. But Allen was limping after the tackle for a 3-yard loss, and on the next play, Terry Glenn beat a gimpy Allen for a 30-yard touchdown pass. Glenn was wide open at the goal line. |
| Williams intercepts The situation: First-and-10 at Tampa Bay 41 The play: Bruce Gradkowski floated a pass toward the middle of the field where Roy Williams intercepted it with 48 seconds to play in the first quarter. Joey Galloway had a few steps on Terence Newman, and with the ball hanging, it allowed Williams to get it. Dallas scored on the possession that followed. |
| Glenn breaks open The situation: First-and-10 at Dallas 44 The play: With Terry Glenn in single coverage, Tony Romo went straight to him with a pass. Romo rolled right, and with Glenn ahead of Will Allen, the Cowboys had a chance for a big play. Romo found Glenn for a 45-yard pass with 12:24 to play in the third quarter. Dallas scored four plays later for a 28-10 lead. |
| Replay ruling The situation: Second-and-7 at Tampa Bay 30 The play: Akin Ayodele dived for a deflected pass for an interception with 9:01 left in the third quarter. The referees ruled an incompletion, but after Dallas challenged the ruling, it was overturned. |
| Tipped pass finishes Bucs The situation: Third-and-15 at Tampa Bay 33 The play: A Bruce Gradkowski pass for Joey Galloway was tipped at the line of scrimmage by Junior Glymph. The incompletion with 7:38 to play ended any hope the Bucs had of coming back. |
