Rookie linebacker Sergio Kindle, the Baltimore Ravens' top draft choice in 2010, has not been ruled out for the season after fracturing his skull in late July when he fell down two flights of stairs. Kindle, the former University of Texas and Woodrow Wilson High School star, is "ahead of schedule" in his recovery, according to the team. Kindle, who is unsigned, is scheduled to meet with neurologists in Baltimore at the end of next week. The Ravens are likely awaiting a prognosis on Kindle before they restart contract negotiations. Kindle has recently begun to work out, according to Ravens coach John Harbaugh. He will start the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list, which means he will miss at least the first six weeks of the season.
