Sam Hurd sprained his left ankle on the Dallas Cowboys' first possession of Thursday's 16-10 win over Minnesota. Suddenly, Dallas is down to two healthy receivers: Terrell Owens and Patrick Crayton. That, writes Jean-Jacques Taylor, is a scary situation.

Frank Cornish IV, who played on two Super Bowl-winning teams with the Dallas Cowboys, died in his sleep at his Southlake home Friday night. He was 40. Cornish, an offensive lineman, played with the Cowboys on Super Bowl-winning teams in 1992 and 1993, starting five games.
