Re: "I dream of world peace," by Robert Kimball, Monday Letters. Mr. Kimball loved the Chinese people cheering for everyone at the Olympics on television. Was what he was seeing real? Half of the opening fireworks show was fake. The Chinese spent a year using computer graphics to enhance the fireworks display to make them seem more spectacular for television viewers. The little Chinese girl that the world fell in love with was also fake. A prettier girl was chosen to lip-sync the other little girl's song. We have reached the point in technology where it is impossible to tell what is real or fake on TV. These beautiful Chinese pulled the wool over Mr. Kimball's eyes and the eyes of everyone else watching. What else was fake? Brian Jagielski, Irving Chinese show mostly fake
