Rick Gosselin: The Cowboys are a team built for the present. Age and the salary cap create a sense of urgency. Yet Ekuban and Page are developmental players who figure to have more of an impact in 2000 than 1999. No help at speed receiver or offensive tackle. This team needs to draft for now. Grade: D

1999: A final autopsy reveals that former Cowboys offensive lineman Mark Tuinei died of a lethal combination of heroin and a form of the drug ecstasy. The death was ruled an accident.
