Cowboys 40th anniversary: Panelists

The panelists who selected the 40 most memorable games in Cowboys history, the 40 most important people in Cowboys history and the 40th anniversary Cowboys team:

Sam Blair
Was a sports writer and columnist for The Dallas Morning News for 41 years and was the paper's first pro football writer when the Cowboys were founded. He is a former Pro Football Hall of Fame voter.

Tim Cowlishaw
Sports columnist for The Dallas Morning News and a former Cowboys writer and NFL writer for the paper. He followed the Cowboys while growing up in Dallas.

Rick Gosselin
The Dallas Morning News' pro football writer and a former Cowboys writer at the paper. He is a former Pro Football Hall of Fame voter.

Dale Hansen
Longtime sports anchor for WFAA-TV and a former color commentator for the Cowboys radio network.

Frank Luksa
Sports columnist for The Dallas Morning News and a former Cowboys writer for newspapers in Dallas and Fort Worth. He is a current Pro Football Hall of Fame voter and has followed the Cowboys since their inception.

Verne Lundquist
NFL broadcaster for many years on several networks. He is a former WFAA-TV sports anchor and a former play-by-play voice of the Cowboys.

David Moore

1999: A final autopsy reveals that former Cowboys offensive lineman Mark Tuinei died of a lethal combination of heroin and a form of the drug ecstasy. The death was ruled an accident.
